Max Mara presents the Roma Bag

The ideal setting to show off all the Max Mara Group collections, and this most elegantly simple of bags in particular, the beautifully balanced proportions of this store are perfectly in keeping with the classic style of the ancient monuments and the most majestic streets of Rome – reinterpreted with the modern, stylised, minimalist touch we have come to associate with Max Mara fashion.
 

These features are reflected in the soft, yet precise shape of this deerskin bag, with handles enhanced by subtle tailored top-stitching and refined, luxury metal details, together with the tortoiseshell acetate clin d’oeil clip fastening, intended as a homage to the Turtle Fountain, one of the most fabulous jewels – and best-kept secrets – of Baroque Rome, featuring turtles sculpted by Bernini. And indeed in the top-stitched pointed clasp, tipping an understated wink to the “look” of the centurions.
