Max Mara Atelier is a research laboratory, through which Max Mara explores new territory, renovating it, while keeping its original DNA.
The protagonist of the special Max Mara Atelier project is the coat, centre of the Max Mara world, here in a never before seen aspect, precious and tailored.
The Atelier spirit is evident in the choice of materials – double cashmere, baby camel, alpaca, double twill, duchess silk, combed satin, triple wool and silk organza – and in the details and finishes: fine embroideries, appliqués, rich linings – of duchess, organza on satin or silk moiré.
The project has gathered the consensus of the most important fashion magazines, like Vogue France, Vogue America, Vogue UK and Vogue Germany.
The collection, composed of fifteen models, will be on sale starting from September 2009, in selected Max Mara boutiques.
